Chip (my dog) died today,
he was 11, on March 9th.

Everyone loves him.

He died of cancer.

and he was a really good dog.

he liked snow,
and swimming, but not really, he liked standing in the water and opening his mouth in it,
he liked to sit under the piano when I played,
He always slept in my room,
He killed bunnies sometimes, that I would fix.
He ruined a lot of DDR games, (and played them with Robbie)
He was always really happy all the time,
He made a growly noise when he got excited,
He always rubbed on couches,
He only barked when he was supposed to,
and always listened to what you had to say,
He got along with all kinds of animals (except for the bunnies that he ate)
He loved being with us all the time, he never liked being alone.

Neither do I.

haha it really does! Thanks. I would really like to go to GVSU... actually, but my dad would eat me. Plus their Biology stuff is all in Muskegon, and I would have to drive to my classes so it would be rather impractical, at least from what I've heard. And Albion has a really good bio / pre-vet program. It's also the closest school I applied to... the rest were in Ohio / North Carolina. And after applying I kind of realized I didn't want to go THAT far away. So it's my best bet. It'll be fun though. I'm really worried about losing connections with the friends here. But it's only an hour, right? ^____ ^

Oh oh! So Robbie tells me you're really liberal. / enjoy the politics. I found this really cool graphic novel, it's kind... a present day Maus. It's called Pride of Baghdad. and it's kind of like... a comic book animal farm but with AMAZING art. you should check it out. If I'm at grand valley anytime this week, I'll show it to you. It's told through the view of 4 lions. With all of this political symbolism and commentary. Very worth while.

I am, thank you (also, due to my late response, it's pretty much over now).

I almost went to Albion College, by the way. I really, really liked it and sometimes I still wish I had gone there. It's a great liberal arts school, and the people are just so friendly... plus, it's a very prestigious institution. The name carries a lot of weight.

I chose GVSU because it's a nicer area (the town of Albion is not so great) and because I wanted something a little bigger and a little less stressful. Especially if you get into the honors institution, you really have a lot of freedom with your education - without the stress of feeling like you're at a mini Harvard.

I think it just depends on how hard you want to work and what kind of community you are looking for. It's probably much easier to make new friends at Albion because it's a smaller school and a tighter community, and probably more intellectual too.

Anyway, I hope that helps a little! In the end, go with your instincts.
